Support for young entrepreneurs

Messe Dornbirn and the Vorarlberg Chamber of Commerce support the trade fair participation of young entrepreneurs from Vorarlberg again this year. Part of the stand rent is covered, and young entrepreneurs receive a 20% discount on the space rent.

A limited number of spaces are available for this support. The support cannot be combined with other discounts.

Company founded from 01.01.2023 onwards

First-time participation in a Messe Dornbirn trade fair

Registration obligation for employees and temporary workers

Employees and temporary workers must be registered for the entire duration of their activity (including setup and dismantling) on the Dornbirn trade fair grounds. Registration must be done with the responsible authorities in Austria The responsible authorities may conduct inspections on site. As an exhibitor at com:bau, you must be able to present the necessary documents at any time.

Decree on the cash register obligation from 2016

The decree on the cash register obligation was issued by the Federal Ministry of Finance in 2016 and has been in effect since then. The cash register obligation aims to combat undeclared sales and tax evasion. It is intended to create fair conditions for a competitive business location and for domestic entrepreneurs.
